Our Perfect September Wedding at El Huerto de Santa María
We got married in September at El Huerto de Santa María in El Puig, Valencia, and it was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we first visited the venue, we knew it was something special. The gorgeous gardens and peaceful atmosphere made it an easy choice for us. Meeting José Enrique only confirmed we’d made the right decision—he was so helpful, accommodating, and made the planning process a breeze.
We had a small, intimate wedding surrounded by our closest family and friends, and the venue couldn’t have been more perfect for it. The gardens were beautifully kept, and the weather couldn’t have been better—it all added to the magical atmosphere. The greenhouse where we had the ceremony was absolutely beautiful, providing the perfect backdrop for such a special moment. Our celebrant, Ramón, was fantastic and added such a personal touch by sharing a lovely story about us during the ceremony.
The food was another highlight. There was so much of it, and everything was absolutely delicious! We especially loved the canapés served under the arches and the lamb main course was a real favorite among our guests. Most of our guests traveled from Ireland and didn’t speak Spanish, but the staff were great at communicating in English, which made everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
El Huerto de Santa María gave us the perfect wedding day—relaxed, romantic, and filled with unforgettable moments. If you’re looking for a venue in Valencia, we honestly couldn’t recommend it enough!
